The most surprising thing in my job is how getting the right colour and the right hair cut contributes to your client’s confidence.

One hair tool you simply can't live without?

My personal favourite hair tool is the Toni & Guy XL straighteners.

My father, as he is also a hairdresser and was the one who introduced me to this world.

I've been working as a hair stylist and colourist for 13 years in Italy, Berlin and London.

Who is your style inspiration?

I am always looking for perfection so my visions are constantly evolving. When I'm in the salon the personal style of my clients is the main inspiration that allows me to create a bespoke hairstyle and the most coherent look.

What prompted you to get into hair?

Being a professional dancer I always wanted to create the most beautiful and precise hairstyles for my partner. I also found it hard to find someone who did my hair the way I wanted it. These are the reasons why I always want to make people feel confident with the most beautiful creation made just for them.

Don't be scared to try new shapes and techniques. Never stop learning and practising.

What prompted you to get into hair?

It sounds silly but I was always so disappointed after a haircut whilst growing up and believe this industry should be about making someone happy. You should be able to walk out of the salon feeling like a weight has been lifted of your shoulders, wanting to show your new style off to the world.

What is your hair specialty?

I love big bouncy blow dries and any sort of creative styling.

What does it take to be successful in this industry?

I believe you must be a people’s person, but also have the ability to see a vision and create a journey for your client from the get go.

I have always been fascinated about art and everything that involves creativity, so hairstyling is my way of being artistic as it allows me to think outside of the box.

My job satisfaction and happiness is about achieving my full potential, tapping into my creativity, and feeling that I can make a difference to my clients.

What does it take to be successful in this industry?

You need to love this industry, because if you don't then you will never succeed. You also need to be open-minded so you can continue to grow your creative skills and experience.

It came naturally. Since I was a child I could style my friends hair, and I have always been told that I should be a hairdresser.

The best part of my job is to see the happy smiling face of my client when she/he see’s the result after being in my chair.
